About Paul Stefani... Son of legendary jazz trombonist Roland Stefani and brother of guitarist Mark Stefani, Paul is a formidable player who has been greatly influenced by these two musical masters for 22 years. He received his formal music education while attending Hayward State University, and has studied extensively with such notable San Francisco Conservatory guitar instructors as Marc Teicholtz and Lawrence Ferrara. Paul has been teaching privately for the past 10 years, and has also taught for the S.F. Unified School District. He can be heard performing in different Bay Area venues, where he blends his classical ability with contemporary fingerstyle jazz, blues, latin, and popular music, while continuing to expand his own knowledge of music and the guitar.
